It almost looks like your file name was a.jsp.jsp! There is a bug in WL451 where
the precompiler converts chars like '.', ".." and '/' to _46__ etc. ( I don't
remember the exact garbage it produce
that the server polls periodically
and reloads. I'm not sure if Jserv supports this option. If not, you will have to
stop/restart to see changes.

I'm in the process of experimenting with JRun Pro 2.3.3 Build 157/Apache
1.3.9 on NT4.0 for my JSP frontend. I'm interested in learning from
other people experiences in this regard, particularly when it comes to
7x24 operation. Thanks

Is there a setup guide out there for this combination - GNUJSP running
on Apache/Jserv/NT4.0. We are unable to get the gnujsp servlet to kick
in and precompile/server *.jsp files. Instead, the file gets output to
the browser. Thanks

I'm looking to explore other technology options for running my JSP site
on ie in terms of web servers, JSP/Servlet engines etc.
Is there someplace I can go, to get educated on this subject.
We are a 7x24 e-Commerce site (currently on NT ) and looking for
robusteness and speed!
Thanks

but the details here are very specific
to each server
environment.
You make an interesting observation. I checked the online docs for WebLogic
and I did see some minimal writeup on System and App class paths vis-a-vis
JSP. I need to understand this a little better. Thanks for pointing it
out!

ptions here? Is there a design pattern that you know of
that will work in this situation? I have WebLogic guys also working on
this, but am interested in hearing from you.
Thanks
