I would highly suggest using Apache w/ Caucho vs. IIS w/ Tomcat. I've used
both combinations and the Apache/Caucho combination was much easier to
configure and seemed more powerful and responsive.
Just my opinion though

Has anyone tried capturing a user's history, capturing where they've been as
they work their way through an application. In turn, I would like to create
a "breadcrumb" trail of navigation, giving them the ability to go back to
any part of their work in the application for a particular session.

You

Your configuration files must not be set up correctly. If you have the
config files set up correctly, apache would send the request to Tomcat.
Insure that you have the JSP sitting in the correct directory. The
directory you specified in your Tomcat config file. Sorry I can't give you
anymore de
I would also like to see the code that you would use to write to a text
file.

Has anyone had any experience using a servlet to sort table columns? I'm
filling a table dynamically and I want to sort the results by columns with
the column headers being links that will sort the data in that particular
column.
I would appreciate any feedback on this.
I absolutely agree! The tone in the emails was ridiculous and ignorant!
