You can user JDBC. See its documentation. No need to configure JSWDK

Subject: JSP, Servlets connecting to database with JWSDK
Hello, I have just started using JSP and servlets,
I would like my servlets to
read and write data to a database, however I
haven't been able to find any documentation on configuring
JWSDK or tomcat to implement this, can anyone point
me in the right direction.
