In my JSP 0.92 pages I was able to include "extended" unicode characters like the TM, COPYRIGHT, REGISTERED, etc. symbols without resorting to escapes like © or Ӝ and such. Now, because the files are compiled into XML, they seem to barf in my JRun 2.3.3 (JSP 1.0) because it cannot handle the non-ascii characters. Is this "just the way it is" or is this a bug or something that's being fixed or something that I can fix with the properly language encoding?
