I guess that's what I concluded. I just have the main page redirected
to the jsp page.
You brought that point of not running tomcat as rootthanx. Even
though I knew this, I ignored it.

You do not need to Install Jserv, Tomcat has a diriritive built in.
You just need "ApacheModuleJserv.dll" you can download this
dll file by itself from www.apache.org.
