Thanks John & Adam,
I think u already mention to me in the IRC that conjure-up will not work n
require xenial only. But I just want to used juju 1.0 and lxc to deploy the
charms.
1st bootstrap working but when I want to deploy juju-gui charms, "juju
status --format=tabular" showing error
On Mon,
Conjure-up is Juju 2.0, MAAS 2.0, and Xenial only. You will need to use
the previous openstack-installer if on trusty. Also if KVM is not
supported on power you'll need to use a different virt-type for
nova-compute.

I don't know if conjure-up supports Juju 1.0. In 1.0 the setting was in
environments.yaml as 'default-series'. So something like:
environments:
power8:
type: ?
default-series: trusty
My memory is a bit hazy there, but that's roughly what I remember.

Thanks John for the advise.
fenris@bigsoftware:~$ juju --version
1.25.5-trusty-ppc64el
fenris@bigsoftware:~$ juju bootstrap --bootstrap-series=trusty
error: flag provided but not defined: --bootstrap-series

You need Xenial if you want to use MAAS 2.0, but Juju can deploy to Trusty
just fine. I'm not sure about kvm_intel, but you can do "juju bootstrap
--bootstrap-series=trusty" to get a Trusty Controller, and then 'juju
deploy --series trusty APP" to select a Trusty series there as well.

Hi,
I've tried and its not possible to run conjure-up and container to deploy
big software on Power8 Softlayer as current the hardware doesn't supported
Xenial Xerus yet.
event the kernel itself doesn't support kvm_intel module. Appreciate if
someone can advise me how can I fully utilize the trial
