Hi, Thanks to Italian Gfoss mail list I came to know that there is a basic ECW plugin for GDAL 1.5.2, for Debian Linux (http://svn.debian.org/viewsvn/pkg-grass/packages/gdal-ecw/trunk/). I am not sure if this can help to solve ECW support for OJ in linux Peppe _
