That's what my Eclipse is set-up to use. If the plug-in won't work
compiled for that version of Java, I'll compile for 1.5.

Andre,
You can download the 1.2 version of my GPX plug-in here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/surveyos/files/SurveyOS%20OpenJUMP%20Plug-Ins/GPX/
You need to put the contents of the "lib" folder in the lib folder of
your OpenJUMP installation folder. You need to put the contents of the

you definitely do _not_ need jdk 1.5 for 1.5 compliant classes. all jdks can
compile with lower class version compliance.
so you did uncomment the set JAVA_BIN line and there was no error in the
console?

Java 1.5. Maybe that is the problem.
I'll do some more trouble shooting and will report back to the
I think you can right click on your project in Eclipse, choose Team,

please enable the console in the oj.bat and post the error. my guess is that
you thought you enabled 1.5 compliance but somehow didn't succeed. anyway,
let's have a look at the error.
snapshot builds are like releases build with 1.5 compliance.

Hi all,
this page has nothing to do with OpenJUMP developing and evolution.

Hi all,
thank you Landon, Michael and Stefan.
I installed SubEclipse and I was able to download the trunck folder into my
eclipse
My first question is, before"starting bungling", how can I regularly upgrade my
project from trunk site to get the latest changes?
thanks
