Jukka,
can you please check if this is gone in revision 3276?
thanks .
Thanks,
You are right and those functions work fine. "Line sequence" function has
pretty odd Finnish translation but I may know who to accuse for that :)
We have some plugins like the Aggregation plugin which have a small context
aware help panel. Such a thing would suit very well for geometry
Hi,
What you describe is, more or less, what "line merge" and "line
sequence" do (in geometry functions).
line sequence just change the orientation of contiguous lines without
merging them
merge will revert lines if necessary and merge them, but it will not
merge if three or more lines share th

sorry no.. the converter is plain stupid and would use all coordinates found in
the order present and build a linestring from it.

Oh.. Larry is still alive :)
@ Jukka: would't this be like application of the union function or
planar graph tool, if you select all linestrings before and put them
into a new layer? Though, maybe I miss your particular point.
I am also not sure if Ede did wrote something similar with the edit
Hi Jukka,
I'm sure that the Blend Linestring tool could be trivially modified to
support multilinestrings. The only question is would it be better to
create a new tool from it called "Simplify Multilinestrings"?

Hi,
Is there some clever way for organizing multilinestrings and making them as
simple and directional as possible?
Workflow would be like
- take the first part of multilinestring (P1)
- check if there is exactly one other part with starting point = end point of P1
- if yes, then merge wi

I have just upgrade a severe bug report about option panel. Could you
please Ede check out? This bug is not present till OpenJUMP 3272 included
but came out after new shortcuts modifications

Hi,
Works better with r3274 and it is now possible to pan and zoom with shortcuts
while digitizing. Changing between tools, for example Draw line - Draw polygon
sometimes needs fiddling with the Ctrl key before the new tool gets active but
this is hard to reproduce.
