What should be placed by default-plugins.xml ? I
Hi,
The exception noticed by Jukka was not from LayerView but from
LayerManagerExtension
Both are about styling layers, but with different goals :
- LayerView is a Layer which uses the data of another layer as its
datasource. It makes it possible to apply a second style to a dataset

jupp, lib/plus/ is the place to be. for extensions w/ more dependency jars a
subfolder w/ a speaking name would be great. note the jar w/ the extension
class still needs to be placed in lib/plus/ .

The current version of OpenKLEM is made by two files:
OpenKLEM.jar (224 KB) that contains the raster wrappers and the algorithms
OpenKLEMOJ.jar (554 KB) with the GUI and the plugins
Possibly the idea was to reuse the wrappers for other softwares
Regarding the hydraulic part, here you can find
Hi,
It would be nice to have some illustrated examples about what it is possible to
do with the OpenKLEM tools.

Hi,
KLEM offers about 24 raster tools in a small footprint. Most of them seem to
have equivalent tools in Sextante toolbox so I made a few pairwise comparisons
and my first feeling is that KLEM is faster, even I do understand that the
algorithms are not equal. I also tested re-classification

Hi Ede
Layer views are basically different views of the layer with (optionally)
different styles applied
In order to simplify you can consider layer views as sinonimous of styles
of layer (Layer>Style>Change styles)
See also the new plugin in the layer toc "Add layer view"
Best regards
It sounds like we should move to OpenJDK LTS
OpenJDK it will be supported until sept 2022

Hi Michaël
I gave a look to OJ 5932.
Everything seems to work fine. See the following notes about a project with
a layer and some layer views.
a) When I click to save the project, the warning to save layers with no
datasource comes anyhow if there are layer views
b) if I accept to save those

tl;dr
- releases will come every half a year with free half a year support
- some will become LTS releases (currently java8 and 11) with optional,
commercial support
- openjdk will be the only free
