You are right, this is a problem in JTS we have solved quite recently
with M. Davis.
@Ede, I just tested it works with a fresh build from JTS but don't know
how we can update the maven repository. Should we ask to M.
Bedward ?
Or maybe M Davis is ready for a final 1.14.

you are more familiar with the JTS folks, would you mind asking them? if there
is a new version, we can easily integrate it in the pom.xml. if you already
compiled a snapshot, ideally with maven, we can easily include that into our
repository.
