today i have replaced a broken HDD in a Juniper M7i router with a SSD
(Transcend 8GB)
Every time the Router is cold started (powersupplys switched from off to
on) the SSD is not recognized until you do a reset (pressing the reset
button on the RE) or do an soft-reboot.

i just configured both RE's as master, so that they can decide which one
is master and backup. I'm not sure if this can cause any problems, so
that's why i'm asking here.

i still have a strange behaviour on our M7i. The CFEB load goes up to
20%, then goes down to 5% then up again and so on.
I really have no idea what is causing this. We have several other
routers (M5/M10/M20) that all behave normal.
