You can setup virtual lab  with gns3/dynamips simulation software. And you
can use Juniper and Cisco ios for testing
environment, and you can connect ip topology with VMware virtual machines
and start multicast streaming with vlc 0.8.6 version

Or if you have a real lab , you can just use vlc 0.8.6 version. you
will start streaming with vlc stream wizard --> "rtp multicast"
and you will get the stream with network-->udp/rtp multicast (multicast
address)
