Atanas, You do not need an OSM+/SIP400/SIP600/ES20 if you put the xconnect on the physical interface or logical subinterface but you absolutely need one of these modules if you configure the xconnect on the SVI interface (aka vlan interface). Cheers, - Message d'origine - De: Atanas Ya

Kevin, Slide 20 of the presentation states that RH processing can not be deavtivated on Juniper routers. Not sure whether that applies to JunOS, JunosE or both. Cheers, - Message d'origine - De: Kevin Day <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Lundi, Avril 23, 2007 6:44 pm Objet: [j-nsp] IPv6 Routin

Christian, If you want to use EoMPLS xconnect on a SVI (to allow for local switching as well) then you need a OSM+/SIP400/SIP600/ES20 as the core facing interface. Without one of these modules, you can only configure the xconnext on a sub-interface or main interface. Hope this helps, - Me

Peter, I think it makes more sense to compare the J6350 to the ISR 3800 in terms of functionality. The J6350 might have the upper hand in term of pure performance but it certainly looses when it comes to functionality and available modules. Regards, - Message d'origine - De: "Peter

Stefen, I don't know who's general consensus you are referring to but in my view it is more apropriate to compare the J4350/J6350 with the ISR series than with the 7200. Cheers, - Message d'origine - De: Stephen Fulton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Dimanche, FĂ©vrier 18, 2007 2:05 pm Objet
