Experts,
I have got router connected to the Internet. I can ping to the Internet with
the default source IP of the /30 SONET IP. When I ping to the same IP with
"source ", the ping simply hangs there without giving
any output.
Could any one shed any light on this?
thanks and regards,
william

It is very liketly that the SIB is faulty. Try to open a case with JTAC so
that you can RMA it.

Gokhan,
I have put some physical interface into my logical router. When I telnet to
it even with the logical router argument, I still get into the physical
router. How can I allowing people to telnet/ssh to the logical router so
that the user is not aware of the existence of the physical router?
I am forbidden

Luis,
What is your JUNOS version? Are all STM1 ports in the same PIC showing the
same symptom? Do you have any abnormal messages related to the PIC and/or
the FPC in which the PIC is inserted in the output of "show log message" and
"show log chassisd"? If possible, try to online/offline the PIC an

Greetings, j-nsp users.
I manage AS1 and peering with AS2 at US and Asia. In US, I found that AS2 is
giving us around 200 prefixes whereas in Aisa, it is giving us around 300.
Is there anyway to compare and "diff" the prefixes received across different
peering points of the same AS?
