I'm going through a deployment using a mixture of MX5s and SRX240s PE routers
right now, and I've been pretty happy with the results. We're using RSVP-TE
and BGP to set up L3VPNs, VPLSs and L2VPNs and it's working almost flawlessly.
So far, the only issues I've encountered with the SR
Cost, essentially.
I have recommended the MX5-MX80 series instead, being a proper routing
platform, but was asked to find other options too.
