On darwin6 it seems to exist: [atrejus:~] multix% man sched_yield No manual entry for sched_yield [atrejus:~] multix% more /usr/include/sched.h | grep yield extern int sched_yield(void); [atrejus:~] multix% interesting there is no manpage though ! also grepping around I found no other reference to where this external symbol should be declared.
