I want to add some details...
The picture of the issue is changing a little if chekboxes on screen [2.png] is
not checked - in this case after locking I see a black screen, pressing
hardware power button shows
, etc.; however, it's very difficult to see
exactly what is being moused over.
EXPECTED RESULT
Mouse cursor should be visible on screen.

As per discussion in the kwin channel, on wayland the apps are responsible for
generating key repeats. So this would need to be reported to the apps, or the
underlying toolkits (Qt).
