This is still an issue in Kubuntu 20.10 (Plasma 5.19.5).
On the other hand, Ubuntu 20.10 (Gnome 3.38) works fine with the same headset -

@Alan : Virtual keyboard doesn't work for me at all when I activate it under

It turned out that the problem depends on the language. For example, grouping
