Brian Bernstein <bernie9...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |bernie9...@gmail.com --- Comment #186 from Brian Bernstein <bernie9...@gmail.com> --- I have a slightly different but related issue. When disconnecting an external monitor, my kde panel actually moves from the connected monitor to the disconnected monitor. xrandr output before monitor disconnect: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 3840 x 1080, maximum 8192 x 8192 DisplayPort-0 connected 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 476mm x 268mm 1920x1080 60.00*+ 1680x1050 59.88 1280x1024 60.02 1440x900 59.90 1280x800 59.91 1152x864 75.00 1280x720 60.00 1024x768 70.07 60.00 800x600 60.32 56.25 640x480 66.67 60.00 720x400 70.08 DVI-0 connected 1920x1080+1920+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 476mm x 268mm 1920x1080 60.00*+ 1680x1050 59.88 1280x1024 60.02 1440x900 59.90 1280x800 59.91 1152x864 75.00 1280x720 60.00 1024x768 70.07 60.00 800x600 60.32 56.25 640x480 66.67 60.00 720x400 70.08 xrandr output after disconnect: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 8192 x 8192 DisplayPort-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) DVI-0 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 476mm x 268mm 1920x1080 60.00*+ 1680x1050 59.88 1280x1024 60.02 1440x900 59.90 1280x800 59.91 1152x864 75.00 1280x720 60.00 1024x768 70.07 60.00 800x600 60.32 56.25 640x480 66.67 60.00 720x400 70.08 After reconnecting the monitor, the panel returns to the original monitor that was never affected by the change. This occurs regardless of whether the primary display is selected as dvi or if none are selected. If the display port is selected as primary display, the panel will not move back on reconnecting, but still moves from the dvi to the now non-existent display port after the display port is disconnected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
