SUMMARY
Virtualbox on Wayland win 11 VM. When you try to use either the View/Full
Screen Mode (right control F), View Seamless Mode (right Control L) , or
View/Scaled Mode (right control C) Fedoras UI either Freezes, crash or the
Virtualbox screen disappears. This behavior does not happen on X11 where it
works as expected. I have the same issue on an Acer laptop with Mesa Intel
drivers and my Dell Workstation with open-source AMD drivers. This seems to be
a Wayland issue. I have all latest drivers installed.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a Win 11 on Virtualbox
2. Hit View/Full Screen Mode (right control F), View Seamless Mode (right
Control L) , or View/Scaled Mode (right control C)
OBSERVED RESULT
Unexpected behavior is seeing where Fedora just crashes, and you have to hard
boot the machine or sometimes the Virtualbox screen completes disappears (it is
not he Seamless Mode)
EXPECTED RESULT
Virtualbox enters into its proper screen states that you requested, and Fedora
does not crashes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is really important for us since we use WIN 11 VM to connect to the
office. The VPN does not support Linux. It is very high priority due to
decision by Fedora to not support X11 on next version of Fedora 40. This will
stop us from updating to any further version until this issue is resolved or
Fedora changes mind and allow us to keep switching back to x11.
