Can't upgrade to 22.04 at the moment, too big disruption but as Matt suggested
I recompiled layer-shell-qt with the latest qt version and the greeter started
working again. So for sure neon has the same issue as F

Looks like it's X11 tool, if you are running like me on Wayland then there
would be only Xwayland windows, I suppose

I feel like we are perhaps talking about 2 different issues here:
* one for Wayland
* one for Xorg
The fix present in comment #181 seems to appply to Xorg only.

I'm running 5.24.90 from the neon beta repository and it seems that the new
changes are causing my plasma to crash every time I unplug a monitor, so
behavior has changed.
