Just tried again (20.08.02) and this time CPU only spiked when scrolling
through the file. IMO memory usage is still huge as you can see in the attached
screenshot: that ~4GB step was the memory used by kwrite

Don't know if this can help, but I had two konsole windows opened as background
jobs and both got closed because of ssh idle timeout. Job 1 had 6 opened ssh
tabs and segfaulted. Job 2 had 2 opened ssh tab

OK, after opening that 144MB file in kwrite and hitting 'Ctrl End' one of my
