I updated opensuse tumbleweed yesterday. Comes with qt 5.9.1 and for me the cpu
problem is no longer terrorizing my laptop. I just use the a picture as screen
saver and I have a bunch of folder widgets on my plasma

At the moment I just do 'killall plasmashell' to be able to work without the

I cannot get rid of the high cpu usage in kdeplasmashell. Whatever screen
option I choose. I tried the default breeze background, a black color. It's at
15% after an hour. It's like my laptop is going to take

I also think a whitelist should preceed a blacklist.
The current blacklist aswell as the new whitelist functionality should be
editable in the kde 'file search' control module as well.
Basic functionality IMO.
