I have found another workaround: Screencast works if I launch pipewire through
a script in $HOME/.config/plasma-workspace/env/. In Gentoo the script is as
simple as:

I use Intel gpu for Plasma 5 and 6. I had tried to make Plasma 5 (kwin_wayland)

I have figure out the problem: vlc sends a lot of Seeked dbus signals (about
four per second) when I watch a tv channel stream in my notebook.

kwin_x11 also has this problem in my laptop when compositing is enabled. It was
disabled when I first tested, so I could not reproduce the problem. So both
kwin_x11 and kwin_wayland have this problem for me

kwin_wayland still crashes and kwin_x11 still works even when I disabled the
nvidia drivers and uses the intel gpu only.

plasma-nm does not use QNetworkManagerInterfaceAccessPoint class, which is the

This crash happens inside Qt. As far as I know no KDE software uses
QNetworkManagerInterfaceAccessPoint class. What plasmoid do you use to manage
network connections?

Hi, MMQt API is assynchronous and MMQt needs to receive signals from
ModemManager to update the message list. That is probably not happening because
