I added simple patch to mitigate the problem. Just checks if the 'image' is not
null'. If it is just return QImage().

I also have this problem on Fedora 24. I upgraded to latest testing packages,
now I have kscreenlocker-5.7.5-1.fc24.x86_64 but problem still persists.

I think Thomas when writing about "System Tray" meant "Task Manager". At least
