Hi Maik,
thank you for your fast response.
I did a run with qt logging enabled. i attached the terminal log.
hope you find a clue. but perhaps my setup with the nas is just not
sufficiernt.

to be more accurate:
file was stored in /Users/myname/Library/Application
Support/digikam/facesengine
according to download dialog window should be stored in
/opt/digikam/Applications/KF5Ä/

hi,
at least according to the progress bar the download completes 100%. but then it
restarts again and again and the file isn´t found in the mentioned (by the
dialog-window)folder.
