Possibly related, balooctl stop/suspend/disable has no effect on the baloo_file
process. I had to kill it manually.

I was able to get this workaround working again.
When the workaround did NOT work:
My .kdeglobals file had no entries for fonts, so everything was at system
defaults.

The original bug report was that bolded text did not work in Konsole. Many of
