Your comment is amusing, but, at the point where you hit this bug (402017),
there's nothing you can do. As you said in 2018 one cannot even use the Save As
to save your data.

As a matter of fact, I did! Never noticed this before, having searched only the
Settings menu for settings.
So, it's not a bug, but it would be nice to make this setting more visible. I

I cannot find any settings in the current version of K3b, 18.04.3.
Unless you can show me where the External Programs settings are, I think this
bug is obsolete.
