Okay so I can manually add the application launcher and task panel but the one
present by default is gone. Maybe it just deleted the panel?

Yup. The new drivers in linux-firmware's git fixed it for me. However, Ubuntu
insists on pushing updates which seem to revert my changes to the older
firmware and reproducing the issue. For now, I'm just

I've tried a Pop!OS live USB and the network is pretty much perfect. I'm gonna

Ah that's a shame. I can appreciate why it isn't possible to modify in the
settings, but it would make things a lot easier for custom layouts if kickoff
could be filtered out via the window behaviours settings
