The issue is still present on Fedora 42. Also, the white square/X11 icon appear

If you always switch activity on the same virtual desktop then the problem does

I recently updated to Plasma 6.2 and tried to rip some mp3s from an audio cd.
When I chose the rip option, the title bar said "Audex(not responding). No
ripping took place, even after 10 minutes or more.
