I don't know. Maybe the fact that I'm running Manjaro KDE. I edited the
original file and logged out and in. Then to be sure I rebooted. Still with
brightness keys working since yesterday evening. Rechecked my

Unfortunately not. I edited original ~/.config/kglobalshortcutsrc file with
kwrite and still the same - it gets overwritten with every logoff/ login so it
never works :(.

[org_kde_powerdevil] but it still doesn't work. After I log off/log in, old
