            Bug ID: 410542
Summary: Add "Lock and suspend" option on lid close
           Product: Powerdevil
           Version: 5.15.4
          Platform: Kubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: andy...@mail.ru
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

I'd like to be able to configure KDE Energy Saving (in System Settings, Power
Management) so that when laptop lid is closed, the screen would lock and the
laptop would go into suspend mode. The intention is that when the lid is
opened, the laptop wakes up in the locked mode.

Currently, there are two separate options in the Energy Saving: either lock the
screen (in which case the laptop remains active) or suspend (in which case it
wakes up unlocked). My current workaround is to lock the screen manually before
closing the lid, but it is too easy to forget.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 19.04 x86_64
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0
Qt Version: 5.12.2
