Bug ID: 433276 Summary: Images are not displayed correctly in Klipper Product: Spectacle Version: 20.12.2 Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: m...@baloneygeek.com Reporter: kde.milr...@8shield.net CC: k...@david-redondo.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 135921 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=135921&action=edit video SUMMARY When an image is copied in other applications, such as Dolphin and Gwenview, a thumbnail of the image is displayed on Klipper and can be accessed again later. This is not the case with Spectacle (see attachment). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Capture a screenshot and copy it to the clipboard OBSERVED RESULT The images are not saved in Klipper (at least not properly) and cannot be accessed again if something else is copied. EXPECTED RESULT Access the image in the same way that is possible when copied in other programs SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.11.0-arch1-1 OS Type: 64-bit Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 1. If a screenshot from spectacle is copied to a location, a dialog box appears to enter the filename, but for those images that display correctly in klipper, this does not happen (obviously). Maybe they have to be saved in some temporary location to be displayed correctly? 2. Besides this problem with Klipper, it is possible to copy the image in other places such as Telegram. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
