Yes, I agree. 3 of my laptops are dual GPU. The ZBook 17 G2 (oldy, but goody)
is not having the issue, but my G4 and G6 are.

My other complaint about Spectacle. After selecting a rectangular region and
then hitting the esc key, the app now closes and I have to reopen it. In the
previous version it would stay open.

Yes, it smells of Nvidia. My AMD laptop doesn't have this issue, but again, on
the same system in Wayland it works like normal.

I never seen anything about Nvidia Optimus before, so I can't answer that
question. I did notice that under the same user account in Wayland, Spectacle
works fine. I tested the same process on my ZBook 17 G4 and G6,

report showing a similar effect where colors get washed out. The reporter said

In Windows 7, I assume you're trying to do something similar to how the Snip
tool makes all screens white. ;-/
