It takes images which are saved/copied to clipboard but with no pixel information; so they are empty and do not contain viewable content as expected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use Wayland (on external monitor) 2. Hit the print screen button 3. Click Rectangular selection and go through the standard process of selection 4. Hit enter OBSERVED RESULT Any image saved as a rectangular selection will fail to contain the pixel information needed. It is of the expected selected size, but otherwise. EXPECTED RESULT The images saved will be usable, with the content selected pre-screenshot, visible.
