Ah it seems opensuse splits kerfuffle in its own library. Try to reinstall the
'libkerfuffle16' package

Deleted ark and reinstalled it. No joy. Dolphin crashes again. Still no
valgrind file. I will rerun.

Seems to be a crash in KPluginLoader due to QString stuff.
Can you reproduce it every time when right-clicking in Dolphin?
Any chance you can attach a valgrind log? See
