Interesting, unrar (6.12 freeware) just wasn't installed, meaning it works now.
Maybe it would be useful to make the error message show, that the program is
missing?

What happens if you use `unrar` (from unrar / rar package) and `unar` (from
unarchiver package) commands to extract that file in a terminal?
