Hi Marcus,
With MXE, you don't need a Windows OS to compile libgphoto2/gphoto2.
All is done under Linux, from scratch. Here i cross compile digiKam + KF5 + qt5
+ all required extra dependencies. This

Good news : the last stable libgphoto2 2.5.18 cross compile file with MXE for
windows target. So i will include the library in next installer and recompile
whole digiKam with gphoto2 support.
