STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Unknown. Today digikam crashed whilst importing photos from a camera
simultaneously checking for new items

OBSERVED RESULT
The program crashed. I restarted it and it displayed the message shown in
attachment 1 (Insufficient privileges "Alter Table")

EXPECTED RESULT
digikam worked as it did yesterday
