It will be confusing (and boring) if every desktop environment names their
default file manager "Explorer".
Imagine Thunar, GNOME Files (Nautilus), PCManFM and Dolphin being renamed to
"(DE's name)

Win+E is a standard shortcut that is used by KDE. So its a logigal to conform
to this standard.
