So I notice it seems to only screw up the file transfer process and only when
it is open at the time of transfer by bash/sox script.

I upgraded dolphin to version 23.08 and it is doing the same thing. It dies
during transfer of more than twenty files and craters the machine. requiring a
restart. It is getting hung somehow during transfer. Again this
