Bug ID: 483473 Summary: Dolphin interferes with bash scripts when copying or transferring files. Classification: Applications Product: dolphin Version: 22.12.3 Platform: Debian unstable OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: view-engine: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: eng.w...@epbfi.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- I transfer audio files using kalarm scheduling on a daily basis. When observing, via Dolphin, the importing of files to cifs linked folders then processing them with sox for transfer to an ingest folder (also cifs linked) the transfer is incomplete as to number of files transfered or data is completely missing from files due to Dolphin being open. Everything works fine if Dolphin is not open. Everything works fine in a terminal. I can observe the process without issue with Thunar file manager however it doesn't display samba shares correctly (a long outstanding bug). Dolphin is my preferred file manager because of its samba performance but if I am working with scripts and trying to observe performance I use Thunar because of this issue. I have been doing this for many years and this only happened recently. Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
