So it seems this happens only on 1 of 2 of my machines, same Fedora 33 version,
everything up to date. My desktop still exhibits this issues while my laptop
which was a fresh install does not.

I have another desktop on Fedora 33 also but that is still on 5.19.5 and the
issue does not occur there. Will not update plasma there in the meantime.
