            Bug ID: 474777
           Summary: Kirigami version mismatch at runtime
    Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
           Product: frameworks-kirigami
           Version: 5.92.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdelibs-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: noloa...@gmail.com
                CC: notm...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: Not decided

My apologies if this is not a Kirigami bug. But this problem is surfacing all
over the internet, and without a clear answer on how to fix it.

I built Keysmith master from sources on Kubuntu 22.04.3, x86_64, fully patched
with Plasma 5.24.7. Everything I used cam from the distro sans Keysmith. There
are no special paths, or special options or flags used when building the tool.
Everything is stock.

When I attempt to run Keysmith, I get:

$ ./bin/keysmith
QML debugging is enabled. Only use this in a safe environment.
QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load component
qrc:/main.qml:8:1: module "org.kde.kirigami" version 2.20 is not installed

kirigami2-dev version appears to be 5.92.0:

$ apt-cache show kirigami2-dev
Package: kirigami2-dev
Architecture: amd64
Version: 5.92.0-0ubuntu2
Priority: optional
Section: universe/kde
Source: kirigami2
...

I am at a loss to explain why Keysmith is not being built against the installed
version of Kirigami, or why Keysmith is looking for some old version of the
framework.

So, my question is, do you know how to fix this? If so, would you incorporate
the fix into your next release of Kirigami, please.
