I still can't reproduce this when following these steps:
1. Open Dolphin
2. Navigate to a picture file
3. Double-click on the file to open it in Gwenview
4. Immediately hit F7, F8, or F9.

Oh, or are you running Gwenview in a predominately GTK environment, outside of
KDE Plasma? If so, then what you're looking at is the GTK dialog, not the Qt
one, in which case this would be GTK's fault for translating

Are you using the Fedora KDE spin, or did you install Plasma on top of a stock
Fedora install with GNOME? If the latter, there's probably some subtle conflict
and I would recommend reinstalling with the Fedora KDE sp

problem: the Ubuntu package budgie-desktop-common sets up a file
/etc/profile.d/10-budgie-desktop.sh that defines an environment variable called
