Bug ID: 425383 Summary: One time alarm activates more than once if you restart your computer Product: kalarm Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kalarmd Assignee: djar...@kde.org Reporter: a...@hotmail.se Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When you turn off your computer with a command alarm it does not remove the alarm and will then get your computer stuck with powering off a while after starting it up, until you start the KAlarm program. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start KAlarm (the program) 2. Set a command alarm with the action "systemctl poweroff" and "Time from now:" set to two minutes 3. Close the KAlarm program 4. Power off your computer before the alarm goes off 5. Turn on your computer after the alarm should have gone off 6. Let your computer be automatically turned off because of the alarm 7. Start your computer up again, when the background service starts, the computer turns off again, even if the alarm already went off 8. Repeat step 7 however many times you want. 9. To "fix" it, you just need to open the KAlarm program before the computer turns off again, which seems to clear the alarm OBSERVED RESULT The computer runs the command more than once EXPECTED RESULT The alarm gets cleared when it runs the first time, and the command runs just once SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.8.1-1arch1 Arch Linux (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: plasma-desktop 5.19.4-1 Qt Version: 5.15.0-4 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
