only package that is available for me via PPA is the one I proposed.

On or before 2020-03-09, openssl-1.1.1j reached the main Ubuntu 21.04 repo. KDE
Connect now works properly between my two Linux computers now.
@Mauro: Did the update also reach you?

I tried it and it works. openssl-1.1.1h was missing so I used openssl-1.1.1j.
