            Bug ID: 452154
Summary: File xfer with kdeconnect starts fatal plasmashell
                    memory consumption
           Product: kdeconnect
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: common
          Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com
          Reporter: jsl4...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Plasmashell will begin to rapidly consume all available memory until system
lock-up. (32GB w/ no swap enabled). This seems to immediately follow file
manipulation between my phone using Dolphin and kdeconnect. For instance,
copying photos from my phone to local storage on the computer.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Copy files from android device to desktop using kdeconnect via Dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
The plasmashell process will then begin to consume all available memory until
crash. Killing the kdeconnect process will halt the memory consumption, but
not release the consumed memory.

EXPECTED RESULT
File xfer with kdeconnect should not initiate plasmashell to consume all
available resources
