SUMMARY
Trying to play any sound within "Find this device" plugin in KDE Connect
Settings 21.12.3, results in no sound and error.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open "Find this device" plugin settings in KDE Connect Settings on connected
device.
2. Try setting "Sound to play" to '/usr/share/sounds/Oxygen-Im-Phone-Ring.ogg'
or any other file.
3. Press Play.
OBSERVED RESULT
There is no sound played and journal reports error from 'kdeconnect-settings'
with messages
> GStreamer; Unable to pause - "/usr/share/sounds/Oxygen-Im-Phone-Ring.ogg"
> GStreamer; Unable to play - "/usr/share/sounds/Oxygen-Im-Phone-Ring.ogg"
> Error: "Invalid URI \"/usr/share/sounds/Oxygen-Im-Phone-Ring.ogg\"."
EXPECTED RESULT
Sound is played and no error is thrown.
